 only. Hatchbacks must be even with roof of vehicle  at all times especially during the movie

  • Vance Haar traveled around showing movies for 10 cents in Boiling Springs, West Fairview and Dillsburg.
     

  • Do you know that the 3rd generation is now running the business?
    This would be Vance Haars 3 granddaughters and their spouses. Which now are including their children and grandchildren. Making this the 4th and 5th generation.
     

  • Did you know Haar's just celebrated our 60th Anniversary for the drive-in, 22nd Anniversary for Antique Show and 65th Anniversary for Auction?

and auction doors open at 5:00 p.m.
Sale begins at 6:00 p.m. on porches weather permitting. 
Stage starts @ 6:30 p.m. Auction consists of three auction rings, 
one room with dishes individual  smalls, one room with 
box lot/tools and one room with furniture/etc. 
Selling house lots, estates and other consignments. 
Computerized auction. Terms: Cash or good pre-approved 
PA Check. Haar's Auction has been in 
business for over 60+ years, now under the third 
generations management. We have a new auction gallery 
for specialty sales. We offer free consultation, 
appraisals, pick up items, sale at our location or

About Us

Doug and Vickie Hardy have taken over Haar's Auction along with Connie and Al Darbrow and Sandra Haar effective March 1, 2003. Our grandfather Vance Haar started the auction business in the 1940's traveling around picking up and selling merchandise for people. His son George Haar joined him upon return of the military. In 1972 Vance Haar passed away leaving his legacy to his 4 children George, Boyd, Elwood and Claribel. They incorporated in 1974. Upon their semi-retirement 3 of Vance Haar's grandchildren are continuing his legacy. We offer over 50 years experience in the auction industry. We offer professional service and competitive rates.
